DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
- Where do you feel like Jesus might be showing up in an unconventional way in your life, as he did with the travelers in Luke 24?
- Jesus reinterprets the scriptures in a new way for the disciples. When has Jesus illuminated scripture in a new way for you?
- The Kingdom of God was described as a way of Alternative wisdom (the way of the cross, the weak made strong, etc.). How does this impact your view of our world today?
- After the disciples recognize Jesus, they run to share the good news with others. Where might you be called to share this alternative perspective?
- What was a concept from the sermon or Scripture that either resonate with you or that you wrestle with?
- How are you putting this passage/message into action in your life?
