Families aren’t perfect. There are conflicts. Personalities can clash. Sometimes there are secrets too. Jane Friedman has thought a lot about this. She's a writer and professor, and recently contributed an essay to a new anthology called “Every Father’s Daughter.” In it, she tries to reconcile her own view of her dad, with her mother’s radically different view. She spoke with WTJU's Esther Namubiru.
