Virginia History - Nov 10 - University of Virginia expelled dozens of students for rioting
UVA students had formed a military company, but disregarded the faculty's rules. When the faculty demanded the company be dissolved, the student military company refused. When the faculty expelled the 72 students that were part of it, the students rebelled.
