If Vivian Pinn's name rings a bell, it may be because the School of Medicine at UVA named one of its 4 advisory colleges after her. Or because it established a lecture series called the “Vivian Pinn Distinguished Lecture in Health Disparities.” But Dr. Pinn has other claims to fame as well. Among them: she was the first full time director of the Office of Research on Women’s Health at the National Institutes of Health. She joined Soundboard's Emily Richardson-Lorente to discuss her recent "2015 Virginia Women in History" award.
