Description

This is about a friend of mine who passed away, she was well loved. She had a tragic life, lost a leg in her teens when she was hit by a drunk driver, she endured many other tragic things, you would never hear her complain, or see her without a beautiful smile on her face...she was amazing in every way. This is for her and about her.
Sorry for the reading but background was needed...

She came into this world, didn’t have a choice
And where she wound up, she didn’t have a voice
So she ended up on Buena Vista with no idea of what’s to come

Her eyes were bright and her hands were clean
With the nicest smile that you ever seen
She was a classic awesome human being
And there’s no excuses for my remembering.

She saw some things she should not have seen
And been some places she should never have been
Oh my friend we’ll say so long, so many cried and cried
Oh my friend we’ll say so long, ‘cause we’ll never say goodbye.

Now friends would come, but they’d never go
She was like the flame that a moth flies to
And even when she would just say hello, she made you feel like number one.

She saw some things she should not have seen
And been some places she should never have been
She had her days of having fun and those days she wished were already done
She always wondered how fast she could run; she went 48 times around the Sun
Oh my friend we’ll say so long, so many cried and cried
Oh my friend we’ll say so long, ‘cause we’ll never say goodbye.
And she always wondered how fast she could run; she went 48 times around the Sun
