Wow! This was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I had been working with very little rest, building our mutant vehicle, Discow, for over 4 days straight.
About 20 minutes before my set, I ran over to the DISTRIKT stage, which was literally 1 minute away — the shift in energy was the biggest energy shift I’ve experienced in my life. A transition from sweaty, tired, & cranky dear friends to day-time playa energy at full force. I went from tired to overwhelmed, almost as if I had shot caffeine into my veins.
This set is a representation of the jolt I felt in that moment — catalyzed by the vibrant, dusty dance floor and its kindred spirits. What an incredible experience! Thank you DISTRIKT. ❤️ ~Late Night Shri
