Born from the ashes of the band "Victory Gin", Selvatone became a short lived, high energy, explosion of drunken indie rock. Their only full length release, "Across the Bridge" was recorded & mixed over an 8 month span at the "Distillery Studio" in Richmond, BC. in 2001.
Fun fact: Selvatone played their CD release party for Across the Bridge at a small pub, packed to standing room only. This would also be their final live performance before splitting up that same year. Truefiit & Simmonds would re-unite in 2005-2006 to record the Earlstown Winter debut, Easy Roads, Easy Skies.
