Two brothers, Randel and O.B. Throneberry, commit a murder in Colorado and take off on the run to Wyoming. There they are identified by a local storekeeper and arrested.
While in the local jail the brothers manage to escape and begin a murderous trip South. Headed for Texas to see O.B.'s girlfriend, the two siblings begin to quarrel -- which leads to an attempted murder and an exciting conclusion.
