The Adventures of Maisie - Killer Diller
After her latest employment fiasco Maisie is hopping a freight train back to the City. On a boxcar she meets a hobo who introduces himself as a gentleman and a poet -- one Henry Glendennon Dillon.
Maisie recognizes Henry as a one-time carnival sideshow wrestler who used to to do an act challenging members of the crowd. Maisie sees an opportunity: Become his agent and introduce him (and herself) to the world of professional wrestling.
Fun script, albeit far-fetched, filled with characters who could easily be right out of a Damon Runyon story.
