Calvin Moore is wanted for murder. When a deputy sheriff from Richmond, Virginia arrives in Dodge City it is because he has tracked Moore, who allegedly murdered a man in Virginia, all the way to Kansas.
When solicits Matt's help, the name Calvin Moore does not ring any bells. But when the deputy presents the marshall with a photo of Moore taken seventeen years earlier, it is impossible not to notice a resemblance to one of Matt's closest friends -- Doctor Charles Adams.
