She’s a single mother with a very low income
He’s an eight year old who knows there’s nothing that he’s done
To be torn from his mother, his sisters and his brother
It’s the only life he knew and he loved it like not other
But you don’t give up, you don’t give up, you don’t give up, or give in
You know; you don’t give up, you don’t give up, you don’t give up, or give in
We’re always thinking of you Aaron, you’re always on our mind
We know your lonely, you know we love you all the time
How can some strangers say what’s good for you or I
There’s one who knows best, look in the child’s eye
The world is crumbling round me, its in a dizzy spin
With all I see and hear, my heart is full and breaking
I could end up on a mountain top or in a deep prison
But I know I never, never give up or give in
But we won't give up, we won't give up, we won't give up, or give in
You know; we won't give up, we won't give up, we won't give up, or give in
