Went to see The Dead & Company in Mountain View last week with few expectations. I hoped for them to play one song, Brown-Eyed Women.
Got lucky and they played it. Didn't just play it though.. it was the hottest rendition I've ever been witness to. Just gorgeous.
I found a two-channel soundboard recording of the song. Remastered it myself, and it sounds pretty damn good if you ask me. Download the file.
Oteil is superhuman on bass. I left in the subsonic bass ranges, so turn on that subwoofer. :)
(And anyone who thinks John Mayer has no soul or is a fish out of water isn't really paying attention. This is a truly devotional performance.)
