S. 2785, a bill to protect Native children and promote public safety in Indian country;
S. 2920, a bill to amend the Tribal Law and Order Act of 2010 and the Indian Law Enforcement Reform Act to provide for advancements in public safety services to Indian communities, and for other purposes; and
S. 3014, a bill to improve the management of Indian forest land, and for other purposes.
The bulk of the business meeting was devoted to debate on an amendment to S. 2785 that would have punished tribes that enter the marijuana industry by cutting off their federal funds. The amendment was rejected by a voice vote.
