It ain’t no thing to find a new way to express
I way to address, the heaviest weight on your chest
Don’t wait on your death, start now, very first step
It’s never easy, yeah, that’s a fact you can bet
Strike up the band, bandleader hold up your hands
Don’t leave to chance, I’m trying to get these people dance
Got a simply 1-2, one size fit all
But imma do it all nite, til I hear bird’s call
The nerve of y’all thinking that I wouldn’t return
It shouldn’t concern, I still got some things to learn
Now once upon a time I was down and out
But found out, a way that I could change the route
Well, actually, I should say the cure found me
When I slipped in a dream in a drowning sea
That’s poetry, I like to write in wild extremes
Paint the feeling, but don’t always say what it means
This is personal and no person know how you truly feel
Emotions so vast, it’s an unlearned skill
Some search still, in fact, I’m near the top of the hill
And once I’m looking overhead, I’ll raise a toast to my will
Hold still, you got a little smudge on your soul
If I wipe it all clean, will you stay or go?
No matter what your choose, my reaction’s the same
Imma do the right thing, that I swear on name
Barrels of blame rolling in, I wouldn’t worry
That’s the way life goes, it’s the same ole story
