Description

Professor Andrew Nevins (UCL Psychology & Language Sciences) explains how many song lyrics can be misunderstood. He draws from ABBA's 'Super Trouper', Jimi Hendrix’s 'Purple Haze' and Hall & Oates's 'Everytime You Go Away' as examples of commonly misheard songs. These misunderstandings are called mondegreens.
