Exodus 20:14
THE RELATIONSHIP FOR SEXUAL FIDELITY
1. Marriage is a creation ordinance.
2. Marriage is God's design for sexual expression.
3. Marriage is the only means for undefiled sex.
4. Marriage images God with his church.
THE REVELATION FOR SEXUAL INFIDELITY
1. It involves a broken covenant with God. (1 Cor. 6:15-20)
2. Without repentance it condemns the soul (1 Cor. 6:9-10).
3. It involves what is needless (1 Cor. 7:2).
4. It involves a death sentence (Lev.20:10).
5. It involves a drain upon financial resources (Prov.6:26).
6. It involves a destruction of reputation (Prov.6:32,33).
THE REMEDIES FOR MAINTAINING SEXUAL FIDELITY
1. Repent (Matt. 5:29,30).
2. Love your own wife or husband (Prov.5:18-20).
3. Flee immorality (1 Cor. 6:18).
4. Be diligent to get the fear of God into your heart (Prov. 16:6).
