He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! The followers of Jesus went to the tomb expecting to find a dead body. What they found was beyond their comprehension — an empty tomb, angels, and for Mary Magdalene an encounter with her risen Lord. Jesus’ speaks her name and her eyes are opened. What were you expecting when you came today? We are busy people living in a broken world. We each have our unique circumstances. Mary’s testimony invites us into our own personal encounter with Jesus and by faith experience his victory over death in our lives.
