Today I want to talk about why family is important, specifically marriage. What’s the point of it all anyway? When we hear the word “marriage”, specifically when it comes from a woman, we automatically think, “here goes another girl pressed about a ring. In a rush to be married, obsessing over men.” While I do agree that there are some girls that cross that thin line and make the idea of marriage their idol instead of God, I’m proud of myself for not being one of those girls. Give a woman more credit than thinking marriage is only important to her because she can finally hit the activate button on the secret Pinterest board she’s been creating. It's deeper than a ring.
