In terms of musical heritage, Jamaica has given a lot of genres and musical influences to the world, from the well-known reggae and dub to calypso and dancehall and all its variations.
In today's music, Jamaican artists took those well-established genres, mixed them with experimental electronic music, and gave dancehall a new flavour. The same happened with traditional western R'n'B, which took a new turn when signed by Jamaicans.
Low Freq explores in today's episode of 'Crickets on the Moon' those transformations and influences playing a wide range of Jamaican music.
