Previously, Max started and sold Qwerly, a data marketing business, and was a Principal at Atlas Venture, where he worked with companies such as DailyMotion, Seatwave and Moo. His personal investments include Last.fm (sold to CBS), OneFineStay, Skimlinks, Boticca, Fliptop and Sofar Sounds.
Max was born in Hamburg and has lived in Germany, Canada, the UK, France, India and the US. He holds a PhD in management science from WHU in Germany. Besides his work, he enjoys literature, art and antiques."
