Description

On this week's episode we interviewed fellow creative James Weldon who is an event curator, producer, and hip hop artist in the Philadelphia area. As you may remember we partnered with him a few months back for his live concert series, The EQ Sessions, which provides a platform for independent artist to showcase their talent. Following the event we caught up with James to discuss his work ethic and how he balances fatherhood, running a business, and being an artist all while working a 9-to-5.

His latest project, Silence Is The Enemy, delves into the topic of mental health and dealing with the tribulations of life. Mental health is often regarded as taboo, especially within the black community, but after dealing with his own bout of depression James realized that staying quiet about it was not the answer. He expressed how creating this project served as therapy for him through those difficult times and hopes that it will encourage others to speak up about it as well.

So tune in to this week's episode and be sure to let us know your thoughts!
