The Wake by James Begley, from the upcoming Bare-Knuckle Records VA “Fractured Unity I”, is a raw and synth heavy chugger created for dance floor destruction. The evolution of the driving bass accompanied by pulsating synths, locks the listener into a deep groove eventually building to a monumentally euphoric crescendo. An effective weapon would be an understatement.
