We're in Besfast today as we premiere 'Black Cat' from Mark Blair, which is part of a 3 track EP titled 'I Can’t (Believe This Feeling)’, which is due out on Patrick Topping’s mighty Trick label tomorrow.
Mark Blair needs little introduction, best known for his hugely popular remixes, club ready tunes and his online presence, which shows he’s not quite willing to take himself, or the industry too seriously and is very much open to having a laugh. However, with his tracks getting millions of plays, it’s no joke that Mark knows what people want to hear.
Following a string of releases and edits including ‘I Miss The Old Kanye’, ‘Biggie Was A Jazz Fan’, and ‘This Is Acid Man’, Mark Blair brings his bombastic style of house music to Trick for his debut EP on the label, as Topping’s A&R policy continues to support new talent.
From the piano chords and ecstatic vocals on title track ‘I Can’t (Believe This Feeling)’, the punchy stabs and breakbeats in ‘Black Cat’, to the hands-in-the-air ‘Drop The Bass’, Blair showcases his musical influences throughout all three tracks, providing an exciting addition to dancefloors worldwide.
Mark Blair ’I Can’t (Believe This Feeling)’ lands on 19th February on Trick.
