The Local Selection takes the small trip up the road to visit Dundalk, as DECKSTA becomes the 102nd Local Selection mix on our ever growing mix series.
A few weeks back we featured ‘The Lock Up‘, who are part of a sound and production company in Dundalk. While the lockdown has taken the prospect of curating unique stages and vast sound systems, the guys had focused their efforts into creating a video series, featuring none other than Dundalk’s Garage and Bassline talent, DECKSTA.
Darren Cooney aka DECKSTA, is a well renowned DJ across the Irish festival and gig circuit, founding the Couch collective and being a core member of Common Ground party series.
Over the last few weeks on the Local Selection we have featured plenty of techno, house and some D&B, but it’s been a long time since we’ve had a garage set on the series. So, for your next hour and a half, DECKSTA will be your Wednesday afternoon soundtrack with this stunning mix.
