Our first Local Selection of 2021 is from Kildare born and bred, Furlo, the DJ and producer responsible for the excellent Manifest collective.
Since the age of 16, Furlo has found his passion in DJing, but it was only within the last couple of years that he found his style in techno. Taking inspiration from the likes of Dyen, Nico Moren and Perc, Furlo is known to play the dark, heavier side of techno.
In 2019 saw Furlo on support duties for some of our favourite techno heavy-hitters, such as Remco Beekwilder, Yant, JKS & Mayeul alongside multiple DJ sets around Dublin and Ireland. Prior to lockdown at the beginning of 2020, Furlo supported the legendary Thomas P. Heckmann on his eagerly anticipated return to Irish shores.
With 2020 being a complete whitewash for the club scene, Furlo and his Manifest team have been busy building their Manifest podcast series, recruiting a whole host of Irish talent for their series.
Furlo contributes to our nationwide Local Selection series today, so for the next hour stick Furlo's dark and eerie mix on, as he dives deep into some of his favourite techno tunes of late.
