Luke 4:17-19
• The Holy Spirit is referred to as rain, as wind, as fire, & as wine.
• One anointing is for our atonement for entering the family of God.
• The second anointing is our worship to & for the Lord. We are all worshippers because we, as humans are organized emptiness & are only made whole by worshipping the Lord. Many see the wrong things to worship such as sports, celebrities, fame, money, etc., but all of these lead to the emptiness in our souls.
• The third anointing is ministering to and helping other people.
• We are God's plan for our world.
• To find out where God is moving, look for where someone is hurting. God came to fix broken people. The Lord has placed us in our world to continue the work of changing the atmosphere around us.
• The average cloud contains about a million pounds of water in it.
• Although there can be many clouds present, it takes a change in the atmosphere before the cloud can release its water as rain for parched earth.
• We as anointed people can change the atmosphere anywhere we go, & cause the rain to fall Spiritually.
• Why does God put up with flaky people that are always messing up? God wants to reveal Who He is. Jesus literally means Jehovah has become our salvation. For his name sake, He has always wanted to save us.
• Worship is how we tell God that we love Him. It is difficult to love what we can't perceive. We are anointed to be worshippers and also to lovingly minister people. Saying that we love God without worship is like saying we don’t know what we are talking about.
• God cares how He is known. For his name's sake, God is merciful with us and has asked us to reveal Him to our world for His name's sake.
• We are God's gift to a broken world.
