• Joseph is spoken of more than Abraham, Isaac of Jacob.
• At this time, Eygot was the world's superpower.
• Joseph from a young age knows that he is being called by God by a dream.
• We must be willing to fight for the calling that God has placed in each of us.
• With out taking chances & talking risks, there is no faith at work.
• The battle is do we believe we are who God says we can be & do What He called us do?
• Give thanks for what we have, even the small things. This makes it about what God can do & not what we have.
• There were 4 trials Joseph has to overcome to be qualified:
1. Will we blame others for our trials & for what someone else including a brother or sister has done to us.i
2. Can I trust others to do a work for God. There is no ministry without pain.
3. Survive being falsely accused. Whatever we deeply value will be our trial of accusation. Integrity is livi g our identity.
4. Can you keep your faith when felt abandoned, day after day.
• Failing any of these will forfeit our calling.
• If we cannot perceive God's calling, & overcome the trials, we cannot fulfil God's destiny that he prepared for us.
