John 5:4-6
• The Lord Jesus chose healing as the most common demonstration of His dominion & authority over this world.
• Even today, one of the most powerful manifestations of God is the healing of our soul – and our healing becomes the testimony of God’s work in our lives.
• We were created to be worshipers & not competitors of God.
• We are born in sin – incomplete & disconnected from our Creator. We need a Healer for our spirit --otherwise we live in turmoil.
• Our society is broken & needs a Healer. This is why only bad news sells.
• God loves us enough to get involved in our lives.
• Like the lame man at the pool of Bethseda, we have our excuses organized – but not our faith.
• Our experiences (the things we have survived) often define us. We usually allow those things to tell us who we are rather than believing we are who God says that we are.
• We should choose to stop allowing our past to have power over our present or our future.
• The Lord will heal us if we can believe and allow Him to.believe and allow Him to.
