• Even in Elijah’s day, the Spiritual struggle was for the heart of the people.
• The Lord often puts us in situations outside of our comfort zone & gives us an opportunity for seeing the big picture. Revival is usually found outside our comfort zone.
• Don't trust in the blessing given by the Lord, but instead trust in the Lord --who is the blessing.
• The Lord will sometimes use the place where our enemy dwells as a place to protect us.
• The miracle is sent to the one who acknowledges their need for God. The love of God is not only for insiders, it is also for outsiders.
• All we can do is our best in our present season of life. On the other side of our best, is a covering of love and grace. The mercy of God will cover us.
• When we walk close to God, we will begin to manifest the heart of God.
• Judgment needs a covering. Jesus Christ is our covering much like Elijah covered a dead boy.
• Choosing to see the mercy and covering of God is just as much an act of faith as believing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
