• When we choose to lay down our own sovereignty, & turn to God, He will turn to you.
• Even today there is still a temptation to try & find our own meaning away from the presence of God.
• Elijah was a prophet of God when God was communicating through prophets. God chose Elijah to be His voice because Elijah understood the big picture.
• We should not trust in what the Lord has provided for, but instead, we should only trust in the Lord.
• At this time, water was wealth & the people turned to an idol of the storm, instead of the one true living God.
• God will not settle for second fiddle.
• We are no longer in the Old Testament & some things no longer apply for us.
• The path to blessing is being a part of God's mission on the Earth.
• The Lord wants to place a river is us, not a lake.
• The Lord wants us to know that He is the source of our blessing.
• When we don't see the larger picture, we sometimes divide fellowship.
• We should not practice being introspective & call it Spirituality.
• The Lord didn't come for the righteous, He came to save sinners.
