Ephesians 3:14-21
• We have received the greatest promise in history –we can host the presence of Jesus Christ.
• A ‘form of godliness’ will never replace the Lord's presence.
• We want to desire God's presence above anything else in our lives.
• Hosting the presence of the Lord will change us, fundamentally.
• We can err by desiring “power” and forget that if we have the presence of God we will have all that he has, including divine power. To want God’s power but not his presence is to be like Lucifer.
• When God is with us, we have all the power we need!
• The greatest wealth is not what we can put in a bank account, instead, our greatest wealth is found in the “riches of his glory.”
• The spiritual struggles & battles often happen in the tension between our inner man and outer man.
• So many of the mysteries of the spiritual world are settled simply by hosting the presence of God.
• If Christ is formed in us, then we will be rooted & grounded in love. We then can represent Jesus Christ to our world. We are ambassadors of God's love.
• If we serve God rooted & grounded in love, the attributes of love will transform us and we will demonstrate God's love to others around us.
• With God's presence in our lives, we are then able to perceive the purpose & work of God.
• God, who started a good work in us, will finish that good work in us, & present us, faultless, before Himself at His throne.
