• There is not an antidote for doubt, but there is one for sin.
• We get divine reward confused with salvation. Salvation is a gift, not a reward.
Ten types of rewards:
1. prayer and fasting
2. compassion for the vulnerable
3. bear insults and revilement (criticisms).
4. when you love your enemies.
5. when you are generous and merciful.
6. when you generously give.
7. hospitality.
8. when you have endurance to the suffering when you Perdue God's calling.
9. when you do a good job at work.
10. faithfulness through trials.
11. people who have held, through discouragement, to their faith that Jesus is returning.
Four types of crowns:
1. crown of life
2. crown of righteousness
3. a crown of glory
4. crown of rejoicing
• You cannot earn salvation because it is the gift of God.
• The rewards are kingdom and people related. The rewards are in the kingdom, salvation is in Jesus Christ alone.
• We must individually choose what we are seeking after. The choices are the Tree of Life or the Tree death.
