• Genesis 1:1 shows us a metaphor of the spirit of the Lord moving/working in a void of chaos.
The Spirit of God will hover over the edges of the lives of those living in a void, ready to speak life and light into that chaos.
• When we live in fear, we live in a reality that we were not designed for. If we are not changed by the transformation of the Spirit of God, we live a life made dysfunctional by a lifestyle we were not designed for.
• It is dangerously easy for believers to view the Kingdom of God through the eyes of flesh and live in the fear, void and chaos of this world system. Fear is a reality. Fear is an awareness of our vulnerable reality.
• Because we are all vulnerable, we can live in fear without meaning to do so.
• When we love, we make ourselves vulnerable to that love.
• God is perfect love because He has no vulnerability.
• Although fear is a reality for us, faith is a choice. We choose to follow the Lord. We choose to believe that he will do what he said he would do.
• To live in fear, is to live as though we are spiritually orphaned and are outside the promises of God.
• The Bible teaches us to have trusted people in our lives that we can confess our troubles and fears one to another. At the point when we confess our need, we can then we commit completely to the Lord. But we should beware simply speaking fear, or venting fear. We should speak faith.
• The first thing that has to happen in the void and chaos of our confusing lives is to become aware that the Spirit of the Lord is moving upon us.
• Next comes the Word of the Lord—which defines spiritual purpose and identity – it brings light, life and peace. The Word defines the Kingdom of Heaven into our natural world.
• This world is more that the sum of our fears, it is the promises of the Lord in our hearts.
