• 1 Thessalonians 5:16
• Can we be satisfied with the presence of God, or do we need to understand the why of our circumstances?
• How is it that spiritual people can extinguish the presence of God? By railing or speaking bad things about others, by harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, and or cynicism. By not believing the promises of God.
• A common question asked is, "what is the will of God for my life?" Instead we should seek the mission of God.
• There is a difference between a false report & an evil report. An evil report doubts God's promises, making us unworthy for God's promises and presence.
• There is no such thing as self serving Christianity, because it is without Christ.
• We must identify what is deflating our faith and remove it from our lives and choose God's presence instead.
• Quenching the Spirit is basically God saying that we can, but we decide and live that we can't.
• When we live in faith, we live as though God's presence is enough.
