• At the time of the Birth of Jesus Christ, Israel was under Roman occupation. The only way for a person to get ahead in this occupied society was through religious law. Even so, the religious lawyers missed the coming of Messiah.
• God will find & use people who are already working & giving of themselves to empower for others
• Without the Lord Jesus, there is nothing truly eternal we on our own can accomplish.
• The Lord Himself showed us that preferring others over ourselves by the act of love, is the only way to change the world.
