Description

Sept. 19, 2018, | Pastor Nathan Elms
• The resurrection of Jesus Christ mattered because it proved that He was Who He said that He was, God incarnate! (The literal Son of God)
• Because Jesus Christ proved that we was the Son of God, by resurrecting Himself after choosing to be our sacrifice, it proved that death isn't the end, but instead the beginning of our existence.
• The resurrection proves that by obeying the Gospel: Repentance, Baptism in Jesus name, and the infilling of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, our wrongdoings can be forgiven and a place is prepared for us!
In a court of law, to prove something, it takes evidence and or witnesses. With the resurrection of Jesus Christ, there was well over a hundred eye witnesses that were willing to die under the persecution of the Jewish faith and leadership and the Roman persecution. No one is willing to die for a lie.
