Pretty Yende first heard opera on a television advert. At the time she didn't know anything about it but she knew it was what she wanted to do with her life. She's now the first South African to study at Accademia Teatro Alla Scala in Italy, the world famous opera school. She told the Radio Workshop all about her amazing journey.
