Magnet Theatre, an independent physical theatre company, founded a two-year-long Full Time Job Training and Job Creation Programme in 2008. In this radio workshop, current participants speak about the effect that Magnet has had on their lives, touching on themes of personal engagement, empowerment, and what the idea of youth means to them.
Magnet Theatre's two year bridging programme is made possible by NLDTF, Rand Merchant Bank, HCI, NAC, Distell, and the Oppenheimer Memorial Trust. The training program in physical theatre for township youth bridges the gap to tertiary institutions and the professional theatre industry.
