As debates about transformation and and sports development continue to make headlines in the country, Connect Sports Academy is grooming future black Springboks in Khayelitsha in the Western Cape. Although the young players don't believe they stand a chance in the Springboks, this academy has given them hope and a place to belong. To keep the 50 kids in the programme, the academy is running a "Sponsor a player" campaign to ensure that these kids receive the same quality training and conditioning enjoyed by the privileged.
