A spectacle of magic and mystery, the Circus captivates the attention of young and old alike with clowning around, fabulous music and super human acrobatic abilities. But who are these people who dedicate their lives to making us ooh and aahh, and fantasize about running away to live the life of a traveling performer? The Radio Workshop caught up with Charlie K, a young performer flying through Cape Town with Canadian-based circus Cirque du Soleil this month, to hear how she made her dream come true.
