This week the UN observed the Week of Solidarity with the Peoples Struggling against Racism and Racial Discrimination.
What better way to eliminate radial lines than through music. At Hiddingh Hall at the University of Cape Town this was done by a launch into outer space! The Afro Galactic Dream Factory, an eclectic musical orchestra, took their audience to outer space - a place with no race or division - through harmony, poetry and beats. The group uses their diverse musical talents to bring people together across racial lines, and experience being human.
The Radio Workshop went along for the ride and shares with us a taste of the tunes and the people behind the stellar music.
