My son turned 13 years old yesterday 🥹
He is not quite a boy anymore and not quite a man yet.
He’s in that confusing liminal space in between.
What cultural rituals are missing today to aid him in this transition?
As business and society rightly re-examines what it means to be a man, I offer this: Surely there must be more to being a good man, than not being a bad one!
And somewhat nervously, I offer that perhaps it is in fact time to reclaim and reframe the verb: To Man Up.
Be well,
Jon 🙏
