May Allah ﷻ grant us sincerity, accept our efforts, and protect us from being among the first people thrown in hellfire: the corrupt scholar, the corrupt martyr, and the corrupt philanthropist.
Outwardly gold, inwardly plastic.
This deen is far deeper than appearances, a concept impossible for a hard heart to process.
وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ
