There are several words for “love” in Arabic, one of them being ود. This is an unconditional love, even a permanent love. This is why one of God’s names in Islam is الودود, The Most Loving. At the end of Chapter 19, named after Mary, the mother of Jesus, we are reminded of the rich fruit to come from belief that is turned into practice, into serving humanity - God, His angels, and righteous people will love you.
