On the small screen of the «Toshiba» color TV were corrugated potato chip floating in zero gravity, news anchor Ken Brockman went nuts and welcoming a race of giant ants to Earth, and a drunken Barney Gumble flew off on a jetpack stolen from NASA with a bottle of champagne in his hand. Glasses clinked in the kitchen. Father received a prepayment and brought Turkish sweets with marmalade inside. Mother opened a bottle of champagne and thickly painted her lips with the lipstick bought in Bulgaria last summer. Outside the window, in the dim light of the loneliest street lamp, there were falling large flakes of January’s snow.
Tonya somehow felt surprisingly good, but she had no idea that she would feel just as good only after 23 years, when she decided to turn on the Safronel mix for the 5/8: a radio, inspired by the «Deep Space Homer» episode, in which Homer Simpson goes to space.
