Stuart's career started in direct sales in 1988 and during 1990s he progressed through the ranks, recruiting, managing and leading award winning sales teams and organisations in both the UK and USA. In 2000, he collectively founded and built a £2.5m gourmet food company and due to the rigor he put into people development, it was awarded Investors in People within six months (unheard of at the time).
