Description

Shimina brings up the topic of “emotional tax”--the weight of obligation that black people, and other minority groups, carry in order to be successful in the workplace. This mindset and level of consciousness is not a choice, but rather a way of living that other folks do not have to worry about. This weight sometimes translates into poor mental, emotional, and physical health. Paul & Shimina dive deep and share their personal stories related to this research.
