I used to play the piano with my own jazz trio at little cafes before I started producing music in 2011. My brother taught me the tricks of recording and mixing, and I decided to put the live project on hold for a bit. I feel very blessed to have a background in jazz and classical music, which greatly influenced my own music.
The songs I picked for this mix inspired me in all kinds of different ways. Some of these tunes have been of great influence to my own sound, other songs I just keep playing over again. I also included two unreleased tunes from my recently introduced Monthly Monday series, out soon.
