"This mix represents many of my musical interests and influence, from reggae, dub, jazz, hiphop and deep house. I like to DJ similar to the way i produce my music, mixing different styles but at the same time trying to keep a raw and warm vibe. short story about djing: I started DJ-ing when i was about 15, trying out the turntables of some good friends from my Lower Bavarian hometown. They used to have this hiphop crew and while we were hanging out at their rehearsal room i always went to the turntables and tried mixing my first hiphop records. After that i started playing lots of reggae, hiphop & dancehall, and also collecting broken beat and deep house records. I got started into DJ-ing regularly when i was about 18 years old and have been playing ever since." - Sam Irl
