I create music as Mecca:83, Rise and as part of the groups Alexis Davis and Redefinition amongst others. When I was six I wanted to be Michael Jackson. By age 13 I discovered A Tribe Called Quest via a skate video and I've never looked back. 20 years later and I'm still obsessed with creating soulful music that keeps heads bobbing.
I'm calling this one "Inspiration Information" after the Shuggie Otis classic. It's a collection of tracks that have stayed on my mind of recent and inspire me to keep creating. A mix of old and new, friends and heroes: all music and artists that should be firmly on your radar.
